I legit cried when Udipi closed. Then I found out the chef opened a new place. I tried to go on a Wednesday and discovered they are closed on Wednesdays, random, but okay. I finally got to try tonight and the food is EVEN BETTER THAN UDIPI. Everything was delicious. The ingredients tasted super fresh. So extremely happy to have a new vegan friendly Indian restaurant to frequent. We had the Samosa Chaat (FAVE) the Gobi Manchurian (for Udipi fans same as Cauliflower 99) the Damaloo Kashmiri and the Madhuri Masala Dosai. YUMMMMMMMM. Can't wait to go back and try new things.
My friend and I were hungry and passed by this spot. It’s definitely a hidden gem in the middle of a plaza. At first glance, it seems like a regular restaurant but we decided to trust the menu and make an order for take out. We ordered 2 orders of garlic naan which was probably the best naan I’ve ever had. It was so fluffy and delicious! We also ordered the chicken korma and the chicken karahi, which to our surprise was UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING. Everything was filled with the right spices and flavors that will make your mouth water. We also accompanied it with some white basmati rice and made everything else come together. The only employee in the restaurant was extremely nice and was running the whole place himself. He made our food come out fresh and fast, which the food was still super hot when we brought it home. Support these small businesses! The value and prices are so great, we didn’t spend over 50 for indian food unlike other places that we usually spend 80 for two meals. Thank you Bangalore! We’ll be back!
The restaurant has great service. I tried the fried fish and it tasted delicious!!! It’s under new management. Definitely recommend people to try their food. The best part, it’s open 7 days a week, without any break.
I love Dhaba! It’s amazing and Amjid Uncle always makes everything so nicely and punctually. I feel like this is my second home at this point. I asked for a specific type of aloo dosa to meet my taste buds and he made it perfectly on time! I’d recommend this restaurant to everyone over and over again. A must have while you’re in town!
This place is wonderful, made me feel like I was in their native home land. The flavors are traditional and well spoken, please try the Kheer for dessert and you won't be disappointed.
First of all my fingers are licked clean! i was craving korma and my friend and i got takeout from here and decided to also get the chicken karahi (see photo). We couldn’t take too many pictures because we were starving but honestly delicious food for an amazing street value! The naan was so fluffy and perfectly made as well that was definitely the cherry on top. The employee was super nice and friendly and made the food FRESH and FAST. Best monday night experience. P.S. to make your life easier stop complaining about the oil and just drain it yourself. :)
Went there for breakfast and really enjoyed traditional Halwa Puri, Aloo Paratha and traditional Chai. I would definitely recommend their breakfast.
If you are craving for real authentic home style Indian food then this is the place to eat. Excellent food and excellent service.
